Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Covid vaccination like covishield/ covaxin in the breastfeeding mothers can be given very safely .
According to the latest guidelines issued by healthy ministry pregnant women can also be now safely given the current available vaccines . so they can also register at covin app.
Minor complications like fever lethargy pain at injection site can be handled safely by taking paracetamol .
Presently children are not included! in this list.
Mothers can feed their child as soon as required after the vaccination very safely with no side effects in the child

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children4 years agoA. hello there ma'am please do not worry about it too much and as per the latest study and research it is advisable to take covid vaccine being a breastfeeding mother. and also take a paracetamol tablet after vaccine.
