#asktheexpert Baby not taking the feed as regular used to be till 3 months.Now the baby is 3.5 months old doesn't take the feed till 3 -4 hours of gap ,doesn't cry for feed and spends more time on activities like taking fingers in mouth,on voice cheering etc. Is it okay a gap of 5 -6 hours of feeding

A. Teething is happening with your child which is why your child is keeping finger into the mouth and that is why your child is not even taking proper feeding because lots of appetite is very commonly associated with a child during this time
