Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 8 m old boy2 years agoA. umbilical granuloma / umbilical polyp they are usually remnants of umbilicus post delivery. usually does not require any type of major treatment except neosporine powder applicatizon or t-bact cream application and maintenance of hygiene and proper cleanlinessz. if it continues to persist beyond 6 months of age requires surgical intervention like quarterization or ligation removal
