#AskTheExpert 2 year old baby had fever and vomiting...bomiting stopped...fever also gone after 3 days...but baby is sleeping more than usual and he is lying down most of the times and is not much active and his eyes, cheeks are swollen...what can be the problem...pls guide..

Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hhgours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations.
cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .
