Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. there are multiple causes of limb pain during this age because it can be normal due to growth pain.
it can also occur due to nutritional deficiency mainly vitamin b12 iron andd calcium deficiency.
if there is excessive playful activity by the child during the daytime it is but obvious that during the night time there might be limb pain.
if the limbs are paining without any activity then yes medical examination and treatment will be required

This pain often occurs in the front of the thighs, the calves or behind the knees. Usually both legs hurt. Some children may also experience abdominal pain or headaches during episodes of growing pains
