#askthedoctor is there any home remedy for cold for babies and he mostly have watery eyes.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accogcrdingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

Shikha kumarMom of 2 children3 years agoA. watery eyes are when condition is high for which you should take doctors help and start giving medicine and at home the best you can do is giving Steaming will very effectively help to get rid of the condition obviously along with medicines doctor will also prescribed view for steaming for giving nebulization but at first hand start giving steam
