when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. 
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. 
you can also apply ice over the injecdtion site. 
if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.
vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other caudses of fever

You can use ice. Your baby or child may cry for a little while after a vaccination, but they should feel better after a cuddle. Sometimes the area where the needle goes in can be sore and red for 2 to 3 days. This should go away on its own. Some children may also develop a high temperature (fever).
