#askdoctors when is baby tummy time start and when they start moving forward through tummy?

A. Tummy time can be started as early as from 1-2 months. Initially, it should be 2-3 minutes and then gradually increase it to 15-20 minutes per day. By 4th month onwards, babies can start moving back and forth with their arms on belly down position. Every baby is different and so as their development milestones, therefore in some it can start early while some might take more time.
