#askdoctors my kid is 3 yrs. old but still find it difficult to speak. is this normal.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. no it is not normal it has to be normal by now language development is a reflection of brain development . So know that by 8-9 months of age baby should speak mama Baba Nana , if not then it s a delay .
Avoid any smartphone or TV exposure reduce screen time communicate with baby encourage baby to talk recite stories and see a speech therapist and a doctor for it
