Let someone else feed the baby the first bottle. Use a slow flow nipple, keep the bottle horizontal, etc. Do not be in the same room where the baby is being fed from a bottle. Hold the baby a little upright with the head being positioned to be in a straight line with the body. Increase the time between feeding intervals and allow the baby to get a little hungry but not too much hungry and then offer the bottle.
