I think Your child is just scared of loud noises or something maybe your fan is also making some kind of a noise or maybe you know the TV is quite loud when you are listening these kind of things are very normal with kids but your child is almost 5 years old you should make your child understand that this sounds and noises are normal there is no need to worry about it
