Add one tbsp of butter to half a cup of mashed sweet potatoes, green beans, broccoli, and cooked spinach to temper the bitterness. Let your kid eat veggies first. Offer him or her a plate of vegetables first. Let the parents eat the vegetables Infront of the kids so that the kid learns good and healthy eating habits from you. Engage your kid not only when cooking but also when placing order for vegetables or while buying vegetables in case the vendor comes to your society. Turn feeding vegetables into a game. Reward him or her if she or he finishes his or her share of vegetables. Keep offering until the kid gives in. Persistence is the key. Try offering steamed or some raw vegetables with garlic dip or any other dip.
