##ask the experts##my baby is 13 months old but still there is no sign of teething? is it normal ??

A. yes it is normal. you can wait till the age of 18 months for the first tooth to erupt but the first dental visit is mandatory by the child's first birthday

A. hi dear Teething in babies happens between 4 and 15 months of age. Delayed or late teething is normal these days and not a cause for concern until your baby is 15 months old. If the delay is longer than 18 months, you should consult a pediatric dentist, says the American Academy of Pediatrics.
