#ask the expert...my kid 2 years 10 month old ...he is started talking sentences ...he is telling all his activities like he wants to go to toilet he wants to go out like that...telling rhymes and all things name he has seeing ...but whenever we r asking questions like what u r doing ...what's ur name ...is food is enough or u need ...but he is not answering to question....neighbours are telling why he is repeating our que and sentences....some friends saying echolalia like that ..is it normal ..am worried ...plse tell me ....

Yes, he still does like this like he will come and tell me that he took bath, answers on his own but since a month he started answering few questions, i think now he understands the meaning of questions.
Just keep talking to him, when he eats something, ask him what he is eating and if he doesn't reply ,you only tell him the answer. Kid will pick up soon.

Hi don't worry. He will start answering questions.
My kid is also like that.
But since 1 month, he has started answering questions. like what did you eat, where are you going, what toy you want etc.

hello actually like the way you say we cannot judge or predict or say with the confirmation it is about anything so better to check with your doctor once take for physical examination that is the best partner however like you have to rule out like rather than judging in sitting just go to the doctor and if necessary you can start of with some therapy
