Vaishali TanwarMom of a 8 yr 3 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi, Better to avoid giving oats because it's bulky so tends fill the small stomach reducing appetite for other food where as the energy nutrient requirements of baby are high so needs to be feed frequently. Better to give oats after 2 year.
Daliya porridge is better option.
But if you want to give oats once in a while no harm in it at all. But use plain oats only. No mix or masala oats.
