Anayka is having high fever since last night and throat pain. I have given Meftal p syrup but fever is reoccurring

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. can be viral infection sometimes even bacterial. there are various reasons for the baby to have fever starting from infections like viral bacterial inflammations we had to treat with only paracetamol which is safe if the fever is more than 100 degre

Fevers due to viruses can last for as little as two to three days and sometime as long as two weeks. and cannot be treated with antibiotics. A fever caused by a bacterial infection may continue until the child is treated with an antibiotic
