after vaccination Injected area has small swelling how to cure for baby

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Post vaccination swelling may be a common thing specially after DPT vaccine which may be painful for two or three days and the swelling may remain even up to month so if it is not causing any pain or other symptoms nothing s to worry.
Swelling can be reduced by giving ice fomentation locally and paracetamol can be given for fever or pain.
Thrombophobe ointment can be applied in acute pain and swelling .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. You can actually keep ice cube onto that area which is what is going to be beneficial with that only you will see that it is going to be better because it is going to help him reducing down the swelling and things are definitely going to be better with that
