after feeding(breast feeding)my baby continuously does hichki(with sound).is it normal for his health???

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. hiccups in children occur due to gas which is present in the stomach.
during the feeding process child takres air along with milk and that air goes inside the stomach which irritates leading to chiccups.
you have to offer feeding as well as do proper burping(for atleast 20 minutes) to decrease this problem and it is a self limiting problem

Yes it’s all normal
No need to worry
It happens as baby takes fast feeding or flow is high
Burp well after evey feeding by holding your baby in straight right position and wait for burping atleat ten minutes
