this is what our pediatrician recommended as well when we consulted her 17 days back and we have been following this...also in follow-up consultations we were told to keep administering the child enterogemina and ZnD. But there has been no change in his condition till now...also, yesterday the child started passing dark green colored stools..

kindly give easily digestible food for few days like rice dal khichdi curd buttermilk apple banana poha upma and do not give milk to the child but you can continue breastfeeding if going on. 
also it is advisable not to give any milk products like outside milk cerelac milk powder cow milk animal milk. 
you cannot give chocolate and icecream. 
you cannot give outside food as wxell as preservative food.
avoid giving raw food and also sugary food
avoid teza coffee.
if required your doctor will add antacids as well as anti colic medicines for your child
