8 days newborn baby pooped 5 times and crying, what to so

A. it's totally normal if the baby passes motion for more than 10 times in a day or not passing motion even for 6 to 7 days. you need to keep a watch that baby should pass urine at least it to 10 times in a day which indicates that baby is getting adequate feed
