Q.
6 months baby fell from bed.. she has 2-3 red spots on back side of head... she is active and her behaviour is normal.. should i concerned about red spots? what to do? should i consult pediatrician?

Author of questionMom of a 4 yr 3 m old girl3 years agoA. thank you so much dr. she has no swelling just red spots there like Bruise.. last night she fell down but she is behaving normal this morning and whe i touch those spots she is not reacting..my mother applied turmeric on those spots..

it is important to keep the child for observation for at least 48 hours and if the child develops danger signs like
severe headache or
excessive crying or
excessive vomiting or
abnormal movements or
lethargy or
seizures then kindly meet your doctor immediately for examination.
if none of above danger signs are present then you can follow wait and watch policy
for pain you can give paracetamol which will help in also decreasing swelling on the head.
also apply ice locally.
