If baby constantly rubbing only ears then might be ear wax , check if baby having any discharge consult your doctor to remove ear wax, don't clean ear wax as ears are very sensitive..
Might be teething while teething baby have mild fever,ear pain,jaw pain,hard swollen gums so soothe with teethers give frequent breast feeds this will ease from gum pain ..
