Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. It is very normal for small children that sometimes they will not pass stool for 10 days also and sometimes they will pass stool more than 7 to 8 times per day.
If the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to semi liquid do not worry about the frequency xof the stool.
No medicines needs to be given in such a case but you have to meet the doctor only if the stool consistency is hard.
It is advisable to give only milk to the child and nothing else before xcompletion of 6 months of age.
intermittent crying of the child is due to colic pain and not due to constipation.

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy1 Year agoA. hello the breastfeed baby will have less weight and can go without passing motion even for a week so not to worry and only in the case the babies not passing motion even after a week then you make check with your doctor and she can guide you accordingly
