At around four months of age, babies do experience sleep cycles that include periods of REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep, which is associated with dreaming in adults. While it's not possible to know exactly what a baby of that age might be dreaming about, it's believed that infants can have dreams or vivid experiences during REM sleep. These experiences are likely simple and related to their daily experiences and sensory input. Dreaming in infants is still an area of ongoing research, and it's challenging to definitively determine the content or nature of their dreams.
