Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required hif loose motions are associatehd with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

You have to first find out the reason whether your child is having its teeth or your child is just having lose motions due to some infection in the stomach I was on that basis only your paediatrician guide you with the correct medication that you can go ahead withWrite Your Answer Here
