Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicinres like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per tfhe symptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hi dear Saline nose drops or sprays keep nasal passages moist and help avoid stuffiness. Nasal suctioning with a bulb syringe or a similar product, with or without saline nose drops, works very well for children younger than a year old.
