straining while passing urine and stool is very normal before completion of 6 months of age. 
sometimes this can continue for one year of age also. 
it usually occurs due to the distention osf the urinary bladder and rectum of the child.
the sensation is new for the child that's why the child is crying
if you feel that the crying is more than normal you should visit a pediatricsian for examination.

Baby your child is generally willing to fart and that is why putting a lot of pressure which is totally normal even if the fart does not come and sometimes let me tell you the kids stretch their body to feel ease smooth into their body when we are feeling lazy we stretch our body to feel better it’s the same with the child the child stretches the body to feel better than that’s natural for a child
