Q.
While breastfeeding baby is sleeping within 5-10 mins. Whether baby stomach is full or it is something else we need to worry about?

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. , your baby boy is newborn and if he is sleeping within 5/10 minutes of latching then if he sleeps for 2/3 hours deeply then his tummy is full

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child
and the child will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk.
if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent burping .
there is no need to to go for hourly feeding pattern.
also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits
