which month give idly for baby girl??

well , semisolid food can be given only after 6 months age.
but idly can be given only after 8 months age.
because at age of 6 months as baby start to take semisolid food , he or she not used to of such kind of food texture so it is advisable to give liquid diet only at initial phase.
