When to give finger foods

ExpertPriyanka BhawalkarNutritionist3 years agoA. if your baby is able to hold the neck properly yo can start with the finger foods, give only soft finger foods which have no chocking hazzards like steamed carrot, apple and give very thin slices

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. Once your baby is a pro at eating soft mashed foods, they may be ready to move on to finger foods around 8 months. They have the dexterity to pick the food up and release it or mash it, and will become more efficient and independent as they master the pincer grip around 9 months.
