As baby is too young within a year at toddler apply gentle parenting tips you can find out many blogs, groups about it.
Simple fundamental don't expect kid to listen/agree all your words, ask about their feelings what they want to do;whenever they throw tantrums first ask what he wants, calm down simple hug/cuddle will change their mood swings;don't yell , if it's impossible or harm to kid say no firmly repeatedly saying no make them understand it।
Initially encouraging later at a stage saying no/yelling doesn't change them..
