ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. Dear mum, after completion of 6 months, you can begin with foods like porridge, kheer, homemade cerelac, fruit purée. Then dal rice with vegetables, khichadi, curd. Later mashed paneer. Add ghee to every meal and squeeze lemon wherever possible.
Beginning with 3-4 teaspoons, give top food 2 to 3 times a day and up to half katori every time. Continue to breastfeed.

after completion of 6 months age, you can start feeding semisolid food to your child.
but at start , offering semisolid once a day is enough
so start with few spoons of mung dal Pani, rice water which is easy to digest.
