what medicine i can take for cold and cough during my 38th week of pregnancy,?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illnescs and it needs supportive care along with propyer hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl3 years agoA. I Cannot recommend you any medicine for cold you have to consult your gynaecologist for that and Cough issues I would just advise you that you should I go ahead by taking ginger juice and honey make sure two or three times in a day depending upon the need
