well , best can depend on child's health condition
so it may vary if one remedy work with one child ,it isnt necessary that it must work with other child too in same way.
although ,here i suggest some safe ,trusted and proved remedies ,hope it help:
first , you can give massage with warm coconut oil and tulsi leaves
second, you can give indirect steam inhalation twice in a day too
