Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough in a child could be allergic , infective or due to some other cause like GERD so it needs proper valuation before giving any medication .
Primarily yoddu can give steam inhalation to the child for the improvement before consulting your doctor.

Give indirect steam inhalation
Give turmeric milk twice daily
Wash hands often before touching your baby
Give healthy protein rich nutritious food fruits vegetables pulses whole grains milk products
