For the proper growth and development a balance diet is required that should be containing pulses and rice along with green leafy vegetable and fruits . Any protein powder like pediasure can be started after the baby age is 2 year or above.

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 4 m old girl3 years agoA. hi but it is too early to give finger food items,it can be given after 8 months age. and the fact is mam , as your child is just 5 months old,you must provide breasfeeding only no other food items are required. give any kind of food items to eat or drink only after 6 months age.
