Father of a 4 m old girl

Q. Vaccination to my daughter Aaradhya is given from Govt hospital. She is 13 weeks old now. But govt hospital gives only OPV, Penta(DPT, HiB & HepB) and Rota Virus. They don't give PCV vaccination. So is this PCV vaccination is mandatory? Please suggest. Thanks Umesh

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumGynaecologist
A. it is not mandatory.it isn’t given under national immunisation schedule so not given in government hospitals. But it is better if you get it done in private hospitals as in our country pneumonias are more common and can get serious in very less time
