A. maam the high fever could be due to the urine infection itself. in that case baby will need antibiotics to recover. please consult your pediatrician soon and get suitable medicine prescribed. complete the entire course of antibiotics without misding any dose. maintain hygiene and wash the area with water everytime while cleaning.

Q. My baby is 6 month old .He have high fever during the night & black colored stool .Upon medical examination he s identified with UTI. Blood count is normal only.As prescribed I am giving him paracetamol syrup and betacef 100 antibiotic for UTI.. He was fine during the day time.But during night he is having high fever 100.4...I am worried... Should I wait for 2 days or I should consult another paediatrician? :(
