Q.

Today my baby got his 6 weeks vaccines and the nurse told that he will have fever and gave me paracetamol drops to give him. i want to know that how many drops or ml of paracetamol should be give to him and in how much duration? #Vaccination

A. pcm 125mg 2.5ml pcm 100mg 0.6ml when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever
