To Dr.sameer awadhya.... Dr she is just 5 month baby,,, she having cold and cough from 9 days... while she sleeping sound from the chest coming

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. sometimes the sound can also be because of nasal blockage which are called as conducted sounds you need to give steam to the baby 3 to 4 times in a day and saline drops in the nose if the cough and cold problem is not resolving even after medication you should consult your pediatrician for proper treatment

Hi You can give indirect steam to the child and nebulisation that is going to help apart from the medicines that you must have been giving because if it has been nine days already then the congestion must have been really very high it’s better that you go ahead with giving nebulisation to the child
