sufring from fiver last 13 hr given peracetamol when take medicine fever low after than suffering fiver

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. You can give paracetamol to the child for fever and this medicine can be repeated maximum 4 times per day.
It is given according to the weight of the child and according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having.
Armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever
Important to do body sponge and give plenty of fluids to drink to prevent dehydration and and decrease body temperature.
Keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever
Higher medicines for fever is required or not will be told by the doctor

Viral fever can take 3-5 days to subside. So no need to worry. Repeat the dose after five six hours if fever comes again. If no other symptoms then no need to worry. Take care
