Sir,am 38 weeks pregnant and the AFI of single pocket is 8.3 .Is it too high??

A. If the year for your single pocket is 8.3 then it is high but the entire four pockets should be taken into account and if it is more than 20 then it comes under polyhydramniosWrite Your Answer Here

A. Mam last Thursday my AFI was 14 and was termed normal...bt within two days..AFI of single pocket is 8.3.Plz can you explain the reason for acute polyhydraminos???(38 weeks of gestation,EDD-16/2/2021)

A. hello there ma'am please do not worry about it too much and it is normal in my opinion and also ultrasound can show around 300 to 400 more and better to consult once with your gynecologist in person and evaluate the report. take care
