plzzz suggest me medicine my baby is 9 month old he has fever ftom last 2 days i give him medicines . in travelling what is best medicine plzz

A. Fever is commonly seen in babies and mostly it's viral infection which is very common in children. But if fever is high grade and persisting or assosiated with specific symptoms than other causes should also be ruled out . Antipyretic like paracetamol or ibuprofen or mefenamic acid are usually given to reduce fever . Cold sponging with lukewarm waiuter is also helpful . Doctor consultation should be done if symptoms like excessive irritability dullness loss of appetite less urine output is there .

A. Hi mom viral fever can take 3-5 days to subside. Give paracetamol to ur baby for fever. Repeat the dose after 4 hours if fever comes again. Take care and all the best
