Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. it can occur due to nutritional deficiency and it can also occur due to recurrent high grade fever.
usually no treatment is required because the whitening will disappear with time and there is no need to worry about it

Neelam ChinnappaMom of 2 children4 years agoA. hey mommy don't worry about the white lines on nails it is just nothing the lines will fade away or mostly as the nails grow it will go away. this is no sign of concern or deficiency. so just continue to offer a well balanced diet.
