Please advice if adenoids n tonsils both are hypertrophy shud it be removed as early as possible or else wait for sometime.

Q. My child is 3 yrs old and he has been suffering from adenoids and tonsils since he was 2 years old. He is taking homeopathy treatment now. He is not putting on weight. He is still between 12.5 to 13 kg. Is it because of adenoids n tonsils that he is not putting on weight ? I'm very worried as it's only if he puts on weight can we think of doing surgery for removing adenoids and tonsils.
