Q.
Our 12 days old baby is having hiccups 2 to 3 times a day since he was 2 days of birth. hiccups last for 2-3 minutes. mother used to feel baby's hiccups since 7th month of pregnancy. She got dexamethasone injection just before this all started. Is it normal ?

ExpertDr.Deepinder Kaur DhawanObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. this is all normal m give only breastmilk till completion of six months and feed in upright position and burp in-between and after feeding sessions and give colicaid drops thrice a day
