one and half month old gave mucolite drops of 3 my son sleeping than usual 2 hrs can I woke him and feed is that normal that cough drops makes babies drowsy

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl4 years agoA. yes it is ok .Nasal block or congestion is due to the common cold and flu mainly due to season variation . Steam along with other home remedy like maintaining baby temperature will help . Other medications like paracetamol for fever can be given if any fever .

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and yes syrup can make sleepy for few hours and you can feed your baby while sleeping and also please hold the baby in upright position little bit. Take care
