Q.

once a bmc worker while giving the 6 weeks vaccine to my child suggested to give 2.5ml paracetamol. but know that she is 7kg and I gave her 14th week vaccine she is having high fever and it's recurring. doctor has asked to give only 1ml of paracetamol. will the overdose harm my child what should I do?

A. there are different types of paracetamol and according to the power you have to give the dosage so when you are giving drops paracetamol it would be 1 ml and when you are giving syrup paracetamol with the power of 125 mg per 5 ml you will have to give 2.5 ml
