Q.
my wife having covid 19 positive yesterday. my wife having 3 months baby girl recently born , in these situations mother can give milk to baby is safe?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Women with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 can therefore breastfeed if they wish to do so. They should:
Wash hands frequently with soap and water or use alcohol-based hand rub and especially before touching the baby;
Wear a medical mask during any contact with the baby, including while feeding;
Sneeze or cough into a tissue. Then dispose of it immediately and wash hands again;
Routinely clean and disinfect surfaces after touching them.

Neelam sharmaMom of a 15 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. yes she can feed baby , in new guidelines it is clear that mother can feed baby without worrying but still you should check your doctor regarding this once as he will guide you as per your wife's condition
