My son poops 6-7 times . But in between he also poops little amount quite frequently its since he was 2 weeks old now he is 2 months still he is doing same what maybe the reason?

Stool pattern of small children changes from time to time. 
It can be more than 7 times per day also and sometimes the child will not pass stool for 10 days also. 
The most important thing is the consistency of the stool and if it is Semi solid to solid or semic liquid then there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as colour as well as the smell of the stool 
Also straining and crying while passing urine and stool is very normal.
 the cryingx of the child is due to colic pain and not due to constipation
